Information
Why should I support this Foundation?
The primary purpose of CTF is to assist in preparing men for the Office of the Holy Ministry by providing financial support to Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne.
Gifts received by the Foundation are placed in investment-grade securities only, with the income bestowed to the Seminary and Students. This investment-style approach provides a continuing, predictable flow of income to assist in covering the cost of education for students.
The Foundation strives always to provide the best possible stewardship over any funds it is given. As you consider supporting us in this endeavor, please remember:
- There are no paid employees.
- Overhead is kept to a minimum.
- The Foundation is a qualified tax-exempt organization, therefore gifts are TAX-DEDUCTIBLE.
Why should I give to the Foundation and not directly to the Seminary?
Concordia Theological Foundation, Inc. is committed to using its resources to assist in the training of confessional Lutheran pastors to serve in the church today and for generations to come. History has demonstrated that a seminary may not always remain true to the Lutheran Confessions. Therefore, the Foundation constantly monitors any institution it supports to ensure that students are being taught the historic Lutheran doctrines as they are derived from Scripture and confessed in the Book of Concord (1580). The Foundation has the flexibility to offer its resources to institutions which adhere to teaching the Gospel in purity and truth.
