About Concordia Theological Foundation Inc.

Concordia Theological Foundation, Inc. was established by a group of confessional Lutherans on February 18, 1999 as an independent organization incorporated under the laws governing the State of California. Its specific and primary purpose is to engage in charitable and educational activities to the glory of our Triune God and the good of all people.

The Foundation renounces unionism and syncretism of every description and will only continue to support a church organization that accepts, supports, and faithfully practices A Brief Statement of the Doctrinal Position of the Missouri Synod (1932 LCMS Proceedings, pp. 154-5) and A Statement of Scriptural and Confessional Principles (Resolution 3-01, 1973 LCMS Proceedings, pp. 127-8). Thus, the historic, scriptural position of said Synod on the Office of the Holy Ministry is accepted and supported. Subject to the foregoing principles, which are faithfully observed, the entire net income of the Foundation is presently distributed to Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

As Confessional Lutherans, we rejoice in the blessings received through Word and Sacrament as handed down by our forefathers, and are committed to our Lutheran heritage. The Foundation is committed to our Lutheran heritage. The Foundation is committed to the protection of the pure doctrine taught by the Lutheran Church against the many forces which seek to dilute them. Our Synod is under continued attack from those who would place a greater emphasis on numbers (people and dollars) than on biblical truths. The sole mission of this Foundation is to maintain the historical doctrines of our Confessional Lutheran Church which relies upon Scripture alone.
